Please read them carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of this site and our services.
Terms & Conditions
1. Company Information
Iceberg Audio (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a professional audio services company based in Newfoundland, Canada, specializing in live sound, DJ services, studio recording and mixing, equipment rentals, and event technical support.
2. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions, and any disputes arising from them, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Newfoundland and Labrador and the applicable federal laws of Canada. By using our services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Newfoundland and Labrador for any disputes related to these terms.
3. Conditions of Use
By using our website and booking services with Iceberg Audio, you agree to:

Use our website and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the booking process.

Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website, servers, or systems.

Not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of our website or services without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel bookings, or terminate accounts at our discretion if these terms are violated.
4. Age Restrictions
To book services with Iceberg Audio, you must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction. By making a booking, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
If services are being arranged on behalf of a minor (e.g., school or youth event), the booking must be made by a parent, guardian, or authorized representative over the age of 18 who assumes full responsibility under this agreement.
5. Services Provided
We offer a range of professional audio services, including but not limited to:

Live sound production for concerts, weddings, and events

DJ services for private and public events

Studio recording, voice-over recording, and mixing

Gear and equipment rentals

Event technical support and stage crew services
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any services without prior notice.
6. Bookings & Payment

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any booking. Bookings are not confirmed until this deposit is received.

The remaining 75% balance is due on or before the event date, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Payments must be made via the methods specified on your invoice.

Late payments may result in additional charges or cancellation of services at our discretion.
7. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Due to the nature of event scheduling and equipment allocation, the following cancellation terms apply:

30+ days before event: Deposit is non-refundable, but no further payment is required.

14–29 days before event: 50% of the total service fee will be due.

Less than 14 days before event: 100% of the total service fee is due.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) to be valid.
8. Equipment Use & Liability

Clients are fully responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of equipment rented from Iceberg Audio during their event or rental period, except when caused by our employees.

All equipment must be used in a safe, responsible manner and according to our guidelines.

In the event of damage or loss, clients agree to reimburse Iceberg Audio for repair or replacement costs.

Iceberg Audio is not liable for delays, interruptions, or failures in service due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, venue restrictions, power outages, or force majeure events.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Iceberg Audio website, including but not limited to text, logos, graphics, images, video, audio clips, software, and design elements, is the exclusive property of Iceberg Audio or its content creators and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You may not:

Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, or display any content from our website without our prior written consent.

Use any of our branding, logos, or trademarks without authorization.

Claim ownership of, or repurpose, any content, media, or materials provided by Iceberg Audio for your own commercial use.
We reserve the right to pursue legal action against any unauthorized use of our intellectual property.
10. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide accurate event details (location, time, attendance, etc.) prior to booking.

Ensure safe and suitable access to the venue for setup and operation.

Obtain any required permits, licenses, or venue permissions.

Follow all applicable local laws and venue policies.
11. Limitation of Liability
Iceberg Audio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, opportunity, or reputation, arising from the use of our services or equipment.
Our total liability under any circumstances shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
12. Changes to Terms
Iceberg Audio reserves the right to update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updates will take effect immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
